Hi Shaune, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Faith and Fear both cause us to believe in something we CAN NOT SEE! So its up to us to determine which we chose to operate in! When I realized there was some level of risk attached to everything I did or wanted to do, I had to look at things differently. I learned how to better calculate my risk. This enables me not to say saying yes to every opportunity.

During my life/career, I have learned there are only a few guarantees in life! One of those guarantees is that if you don’t try you won’t succeed, you also won’t fail. Not properly calculating our risk can cause or mistakes to be seen as failures, when instead it is an opportunity to learn, recalibrate and try.

As a coach, I use this philosophy when working with my clients. My goal and job is to help them create a plan for their vision and develop it into actionable steps which are calculated. This has been my formula for personal and business client success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
C3 Coaching Strategies is financial education company that blends psychology & personal finance. We work with entrepreneurs who feel like they are “all over the place” or struggle to create a detailed and effective business strategy. We empower and educate our clients by helping them achieve their goals through a range of coaching techniques and strategies customized for their individual business.

Our holistic approach is centered around transforming our clients mindset to succeed and overcome challenges. Our ideal client is the person or business struggling to get to the next level. Most importantly, they realize they need help moving forward, and have a genuine desire to fix not only the issue holding them back, but the behaviors that lead to the problem. This method aids their move to the next level and unlock their full potential.

There are numerous financial education and business coaches available. However, what makes C3 Coaching Strategies stand out is our personal commitment to see the individual evolve, not just the business. Our one-on-one coaching sessions challenge the individual personally. Not only do we identify and clarify their goals we translate them into an executable plan. We push and develop the individual so their team is positioned to deliver and achieve the identified goals.

I believe in fully personalized service. We never pull out a manual and deliver by the book. It’s about changing up the game to help our clients succeed and find new creative ways to solve their particular problem(s). Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to the beach for some fun in the sun. We would walk across the pier in Santa Monica and gaze at the mountains while watching the ocean waves.

We would also explore some of the fine restaurants along the California coast, with Xavier and Mastro’s being my personal favorites. Additionally, I would recommend checking out some of the most exciting and interesting places in the area, such as local art galleries, hiking trails with breathtaking views, and maybe even catching a live music performance at a nearby venue.

Last but not least we would visit the Hollywood sign and explore the Stars on Hollywood Blvd.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I firmly believe that success is never achieved alone, and I am fortunate to have had a remarkable network of mentors, supporters, cheerleaders, advocates, clients, and teammates who have played a significant role in the success of my business. Their contributions and support have been invaluable throughout this journey.

First and foremost, I owe a debt of gratitude to my spouse and my parents. They have believed in me and my vision from the very beginning, providing the motivation and confidence necessary to overcome obstacles. Whether through words of encouragement, financial backing, or simply being a listening ear, they have been instrumental in keeping my spirits high and pushing me forward.

I am also deeply grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement of my mentors and business partners, Ms. Shannon and Mr. McDowell, who shared their wisdom and expertise. Their guidance has been instrumental in shaping my financial education approach, allowing me to refine my strategies and broaden my perspective. Their willingness to share their experiences and offer constructive feedback has been a constant source of inspiration and growth.
