Meet Taghi Naderzad | The Stable LA Fitness

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taghi Naderzad and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taghi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I opened The Stable LA gym in June 2023 to create a community, of eclectic yet like minded individuals coming together , uplifting one another, towards a common goal of better health.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So the Stable LA started in South Central LA. Then we moved to Silver Lake, where we teach fitness outdoors.
I’m proud of how diverse our small group classes are : Within a class, we’ll have 65 year olds trying to get strong, 25 year old fashion models , middle aged dudes working super hard, and everyone is cheering everyone else to keep going, to never give up. It’s a tough business of course, but we’re growing. Silver Lake is a fantastic location for us. Social media content has been helpful to pass our brand around. I’m 50, our head coach Filo is almost 50, and we’re in the same shape we were in 20 years ago. We teach discipline, self belief, and more positive self talk. The physical results are a result of a stronger emotional mindset.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Griffith park. Get lost in the beautiful landscape. Then, a burger at the Win-dow in Silver Lake.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Siavash Fashi, owner of SixPax Gym in Culver City, has been mentoring me, as well as infusing my business life with his boundless optimism.
