We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Carr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
There are a series of thoughts and feelings that lead up to the official start of my business, from healing myself from an incurable pain disease and walking down a holistic path, to my spiritual awakening, to learning about mindset and embodiment, to working through painful traumatic experiences that lead me to a life of absolute pleasure, love and joy. I think, especially when it comes to working with women, I watched my mother suffer in painful, abusive relationships my whole life that absolutely drained her. I saw what an impact this makes and promised myself that I would never settle, nor would I let another woman suffer if I had any say over it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Over the last year my business has evolved so much. As someone without a background in business or entrepreneurship, learning these new skills has been both challenging and exciting. I’ve been able to integrate spirituality into my hypnotherapy practice, which has also given me the freedom to really be myself. As a Feminine Abundance Coach, I work with women who have worked extremely hard in this life only to feel strangely unfulfilled by it all. They are experiencing burn out, their relationships have suffered and they’ve lost touch with the essence of themselves. This is common for the modern working woman. Balancing being a boss babe, a wife, a lover, a mother, and whatever else we have taken on begins to feel like a thankless job. I use a blend of mindset coaching, energy and embodiment practices, self love and hypnotherapy to help take their world from dull back to technicolor. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, powerful, safe and sacred. Success for women means so many different things, it isn’t always the masculine model. Both women and men are incredible, but in very different ways. That’s what makes my work so special. I’m not trying to mold everyone into the same success model, instead I’m honoring and enhancing each individual experience. I’m so excited about my upcoming masterclass Manifestation Frequency, where I’ll be teaching women how I shifted my energy to vibrate on the frequency of powerful manifestations for myself. From manifesting my dream man, my condo, a brand new 2021 car at zero cost (that I declined), and most importantly more joy and pleasure then I’ve ever experienced. I am also giddy about my group coaching program IGNITE, that will go deeper into healthy and conscious partnership. My work is very woo-woo, I know. But it’s also rooted in science. And it is a whole lot of magic. Healing my incurable pain disease using the mindset and embodiment practices I now teach makes my work unique, and for that I am very proud. There have been ups, downs, trials, errors, massive failures, and amazing successes. Being an entrepreneur isn’t all rainbows and cash flow in the first year, but I encourage anyone on this journey to not give up. It’s worth it, as long as you believe in what you’re here to give to the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m in love with downtown Culver City. You may catch me there on a Saturday morning sipping bloody Mary’s with people I love. I love the beach in the marina, or Playa del Rey. The Manchester in Westchester is an incredible dinner spot. Eately is our favorite roof top dinner. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have so many people to thank when it comes to my success. I’d like to highlight Abby Oliver (indigochildren.com) as she has been like a big sister to me, as well as a mentor, a coach and a best friend. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without her guidance and support. I’d also like to highlight my incredibly loving and talented partner, Brendan Lynch. By each others side, nothing is impossible. We help each other grow and level up constantly. He adds so much beauty to my life.
