We had the good fortune of connecting with Winnie Chan Wang and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Winnie Chan, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
One time I had a client who had breast cancer for the fifth time. Each time after chemotherapy, the cancer would grow back. I asked her, “It seems that the cancer keeps coming back. Would you be interested in exploring the possible ROOT cause?”

When I was traveling in Bhutan, a traditional Tibetan medicine practitioner told me that all diseases are due to the three roots of evil: greed (lobha), hatred (dosa) and ignorance (moha), or the delusion of separation.

In our society today, we like to create a lot of separation and boundaries. The truth is, we are more connected beyond our wildest dreams. We share the air that we breathe. We share the water that we drink. If one person poisons the air or the river, we all breathe poised air and drink poisoned water. If one person cleans the air or the river, we all breathe clean air and drink clean water.

This is the evidence that we are all connected. When one person chooses to heal themselves and elevate their vibrations, everyone in the world benefits. When we heal ourselves, we heal the world. As I continue to say yes to healing myself, as I continue to receive coaching and healing from trainers and therapists across multiple disciplines, I bring that healing to my family, friends, clients and community. The books that I write, the videos I share on social media, the courses I teach, the speeches I give and the private clients I guide, all benefit from the continuous compassionate transformation I do every moment. I am most privileged to have the financial resources to have funded my 4 science degrees and $$$$$ in therapy and coaching programs. I am genuinely grateful to each and every person who chooses to receive the healing and wisdom that is flowing through me. Truly it is my honor to pass on the many gifts I have received from my teachers, from physics PHD to Reiki and Taoist masters.

My vision is for scientific and spiritual healing to join as One, so that more people can be alleviated from their suffering.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Magic happens when you can combine science and spirituality. With the analytical and engineering mind of 4 science degrees, and my willingness to surrender and seek the help and guidance from a higher power, I truly love what I do. Every day and every moment, I trust the universe to send me the clients who need my help, and I say yes to the opportunities the universe sends me to magnify my service. I love listening and playing detective with Dr. Gabor Mate’s compassionate inquiry method. I love guiding my clients into discovering the source of their pain and also connecting them to their original wholeness. I love making my clients laugh – laughter is the best medicine! Above all, I love being a storyteller and sharing my vulnerability with my clients.

The secret is that I am not actually healing the clients. My clients are healing themselves. All I am doing is meeting my clients where they are at. I hold their hand, give them hope and help them discover that everything they need to heal is already inside them. When I trust myself and I trust my clients, my clients trust me and my clients trust themselves.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was in town, I would put them on my massage table and help them experience heaven on earth! 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special shout out to my 3 universities (MIT, NYU and Alhambra Medical University) and my 3 teachers (Dr. Raven Lee – teacher of Integrated Shakti Reiki and divine feminine; Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha – teacher of Tao healing and blessings; Dr. Robert Chu – mentor in acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine.) Also special shout out to my kids for being my most important teacher in relationships.
