Hi Yagiz, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Considering the art environment in which orchestra artists are in, the lack of an environment where orchestra artists can gain experience and prepare for their careers created the idea of establishing an orchestra by creating my own work. The orchestra we established set out to offer a solution to the problems faced by young artists. It has created an environment where many artists can gain experience by playing an important role in their careers with the concerts and masterclass events it has given so far. Thanks to this orchestra we established, a platform that I have experienced intensely as an orchestra conductor has been formed.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
First of all, giving concerts as a young conductor and working with a full-fledged symphony orchestra is a truly extraordinary experience. First of all, it’s a journey, unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Considering the responsibility and stress you take apart from its quite unique positive aspects, it is possible to see some negative effects. However, if you are passionate about your job, you can definitely overcome all these challenges. The most important difference that distinguishes us from other orchestra formations; Our staff consisting entirely of a young and dynamic team and the fact that this staff acts with a completely collective consciousness. So far, this collective consciousness has enabled us to easily solve many problems at every event. Another reason for solving the problems that came into our mix was that we always keep our vision ahead. We never tried to be standard or traditional. We have always looked for ways to take our work to the next step. There have been countless lessons I learned on this journey. One of the most important of these lessons was that acting together as a union played a very important role in approaching art in a quality way. The most important feature of our story that should be known is definitely this; If you encounter a problem or obstacle related to your work, try to be a solution proposal by acting together as a union instead of waiting for it to be solved.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Actually, I go to many cities for my job. Therefore, because of the natural beauty of the region I live in, I would offer my friend who came to visit me to join this trip. There are many impressive places to see in the country where I live, so Cappadocia would be the first place I wanted to visit with my friend. Here you can have extraordinary experiences with many landscapes. If we wanted to have fun and distract a little, I would definitely want to go to Antalya, which is famous for its hot. I know places where we can definitely eat delicious food and have fun. Finally, I would leave Istanbul, the most exciting city, to the end. Here, we could spend a few days intertwined with culture and history and again eat wonderful food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story, the symphony orchestra I founded and its precious artists definitely deserve to be recognized. It would have been impossible for me to achieve what I have accomplished if it were not for this community, where we have given masterclasses, symphony, and chamber concerts, in the last 4 years with many important projects, and its artists. These events, where we met with valuable artists and music lovers, were very important both for us orchestra artists and for our valuable supporters trying to get to know us.
