Hi Yasmina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Being really free to live fully while doing something i am passionate about .
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Culinary arts. I always found myself truly happy when I was in creation.
My life force and energy come from the people and the anticipation of curating pleasure. The pleasure of hosting and being of service. cooking is my medium, working with ingredients from nature is such a noble craft.
My super power resides in the ability to cook, entertain and create the sweet vibe of effortless hosting while making healthy delicious food.
So proud to have served food to people I truly admire and look up to, and to have created a beautiful community around all the events we curated. Also being the ambassador to Moroccan gastronomy in Los Angeles
What is easy? 🙂
I overcome challenges by staying really focused on what i want accomplish and by being in action. I believe that every problem has a solution.
I am really good at problem solving and a very optimistic thinker.
I have learned that patience and discipline are key in getting anywhere worthy and that requires constant practice .
Feeling really aligned with what we want to create is necessary to have the joy and discipline required to achieve.
A great support team around.
what feels good isn’t always what’s good for you, often you gotta do things that you don’t want to do to feel good.
Cooking touches all our senses and in order to do it beautifully you gotta nurture yourself really well
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a west side lover …for me LA is all about the beautiful water and Nature .The farmers Markets and being outdoors. I would start or end the day by a beautiful Temescal or Topanga hike . Or I would take them sailing . A new hobby of mine.
On a Wednesday morning i would take them to the Santa Monica Farmers Market, Sunday the Mar vista market to check out the local produce.
I am more of a lets go home a cook something” with friends rather than going out to eat .
I we were to go out and eat I would go to
Mizlala, baco, kismet, gjusta, gjelina, Marino’s, I love the rooftops of LA as well…elephante or petit Hermitage.
for some nightlife action or live music I would go Black rabbit rose, or la Descargua.
