One of the most pivotal decisions I made in my career was deciding to truly prioritize my clients’ needs and experiences, no matter the situation. I remember early on, when I was working with one of my first clients, they were overwhelmed and anxious about buying their first home. I realized in that moment how much more this process is than just transactions and contracts—it’s deeply personal. Not letting the opinions/ recommendations of people I want to be nothing like, effect my decision making or my ability to move forward with my goals & dreams. Similar to the statement you hear, “don’t tell too many people what you’re up to” it’s not that your dreams and projects need to be some big secret, it’s that it becomes dangerous when you begin receiving too many different opinions from so many different outsiders.. To allow myself to look silly and be the butt of a joke. Everyday, people struggle through so much stress, anxiety, pain and all I ever want to do is help alleviate any of that, even in the slightest. When someone comes home or turns on their phone to relax, I want them to see this silly guy, wearing horns on his headphones and be able to laugh and forget about their troubles for a while.
