A big part of making decisions is determining what our actions and choices have been inspired by. So we asked decision makers from the community to tell us about what they are inspired by.

I’ve always found that the story I’ve built has been based on a version of darkness. I think I’m inspired by different categories of pain and poetry, and I don’t want to sound too contrived but those things I am drawn to. I’m really inspired by women who break the mold and dive into areas traditionally dominated by men. Seeing them push through barriers and challenge the status quo is such a powerful reminder that we can follow our passions, no matter what society expects. Read more>>

I mean sometimes I feel like I’m inspired by the most mundane of things like a silly jingle I hear in an educational video at school which will then urge me to go to the bathroom and record a voice note which will later turn into a song of mine. Read more>>

What inspires me greatly are nature, emotions, and the human experience, as well as art and beauty. Growing up in Paris, I was surrounded by centuries of culture and art that were created and upheld due to the necessity of being around beauty. Read more>>
