What do you want your legacy to be?

We asked folks about legacy and what they want people to remember about them. We’ve shared some of those responses below.

I want people to remember me as being kind. I feel as though the most important attribute one could have is kindness. Its not as easy as it seems, kindness means to give part of yourself to someone without judgment or needing a reason. I want to be the person that reminds others that there is kindness in this world. I want my legacy to be my self expression and how I’m comfortable in my skin. Kind of like what Beyoncé said “Comfortable in my skin, cozy with who I am.” I want people to know that it’s always okay to be you while practicing kindness. When you have a marginalized background, or have even faced years of being ostracized, you began to conform to someone that you’re not. Read more>>
