The art of making an extraordinary tequila always starts with the Blanco. If you don’t like a specific brands Blanco, chances are you equally will not like their Reposado, Anejo, or Extra Anejo. This holds true for any brand of tequila. The Blanco is always the starting point to the aging process. Aging is done in a variety of fashions, but is never intended to mask the true essence and flavor of your Blanco, only enhance your experience. So chances are….if you have a bad Blanco, the rest of your lines aged expressions will follow suit. Read more>>

The one thing that I’d say people outside the entertainment industry are unaware of is that there is no clear pathway towards success. An actor can land a series regular role on a major primetime TV show after just a few years in the business. Sometimes an actor has to wait an entire lifetime to get a big break. I don’t know why it works for some and not others. I wish I could come up with an exact answer as to why someone in the acting field becomes successful. I know I would make lots of money from the answer. But the only answer I can give is that the more times you fail, the more times you hear the word “no”, the closer you get towards that one successful YES. Read more>>

There are various aspects that go into candle making, but the one that comes to mind are the seasonal shortages and logistics behind it. I was also unaware about this myself until I developed my love for candle making into a business. Containers and wicks go out of stock for months at a time, so I order more quantities to stay ahead. There here been cases in which an item is never restocked so I’ve learned to have a backup. Testing out various wicks to container dimensions early on has also helped me tremendously in the long run.
