Meet The Proscribed | Rock N’ Roll Band

We had the good fortune of connecting with The Proscribed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The, what do you attribute your success to?
“Originality, Honesty and true dedication to the culture of Rock “N”Roll. We’re each driven to the same end goal, and work together to formulate new ideas that we use to launch the band forward on our social media and professional applications. Our ability to work together and communicate well is the main reason why we are so successful at self managing.”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
“We started with the goal of creating music that could be appreciated by other musicians in it’s technicality and skill, but also wanted to create a sound that could be enjoyed by the masses. We strive to make a unique sound, image, and performance that encapsulates who we are from multiple perspectives. We pushed through the gauntlet that is the music industry by keeping in mind that we do this for ourselves, the people that paved the road for us, and above all the culture of Rock N’ Roll itself.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Coming up in the music scene in LA, We’d want to showcase our favorite bars, venues, and locations around the city of LA. Harvard and Stone, Jumbo’s clown room, Viper Room, etc. We’d want to hit the best taco joint, Guisados Tacos, and if you want the best French dip then Philippe’s is the place to go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
“Starting as a new band in the SoCal music Scene led to a large amount of influences and figures thats helped form the band into the driving force we became. We would like to thank Charlie Gregory, our previous producer, for developing the band when we were in our infancy. Our current Producer, Dave Ingram, for the excellent work and support he put in for the Battle Royale EP. And lastly, all of our friends, family, and supporters thats have been with us since the beginning.”
