We had the good fortune of connecting with Shawna Allard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shawna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was always meant to wield the gift of intuition. Awareness struck at a young age, following a life-changing trauma when I left my body and came to realize that I could communicate with angels and the spirit world.

Human auras became increasingly visible, and through my life journey, I was able to distinguish premonitions and various other divine signs. It was only in my mid-thirties that I acknowledged my given path to becoming a psychic counselor. For over three decades now, I have been fulfilling my calling. My greatest reward is supporting people to overcome their deepest fears and obstacles and guiding them toward achieving their dreams.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am deeply grateful for being a vessel for Spirit to heal people through my voice. Growing up, I felt uncomfortable with being labeled as different. But with the support of my family, I managed to hone my talents as they unfolded and come to terms with my uniqueness.

I am now an award-winning author, motivational speaker, healer, and clinical hypnotherapist. Due to my heightened interest in advancing my studies and practice, I have obtained degrees in hypnotherapy, Reiki hands-on healing, and Feng Shui. My transition to becoming an accomplished medium involved a great deal of study, introspection, meditation, and prayer, and now my existence has an entirely new meaning. I understand that being different is a positive thing and it’s important to focus on helping other people open their path toward an amazing life filled with improved possibilities.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a nature lover, and I have an affinity for camping trips in natural locations, where you can strengthen your relationships with friends and family while calming your mind and reconnecting to your essence that is Divine Spirit. Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Hume Lake is surrounded by a tall pine tree forest with countless fun activities, such as swimming, paddling, kayaking, or hiking.

As for eating options, you can indulge in the treats from the Hume Lake Snack Shop or have a tasty meal at Grant Grove Restaurant or Pinehurst Lodge. We should let nature’s blessings help us overcome our struggles and bring us closer together.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Once my gifts were completely activated and geared towards helping others, I shared my abilities with my friends and family. They provided valuable feedback on individual experiences and helped guide my path. My partner also turned into my mentor, and he’s the one I thank for all of my blessings, healing abilities, and gifts of intuition.
As for encouraging other beneficial causes, I support Women’s Empowerment fundraisers that help impoverished women start a business so they can support their families. This is a microloan to get them started in business and where the recipients repay the loan. Once the money is repaid, it is loaned to other women. I donate a percentage of my profit through my book sales.
