Meet Maria Micha | PSychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Shamanic practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Maria Micha and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Maria, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As a psychotherapist I help people restore themselves, their lives, redefine what brings joy to them and loved ones. Through my therapeutic approach; the Anagenesis Method, I help individuals move beyond coping and into true transformation by integrating psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and spiritual practices that access simultaneously the conscious, subconscious, and intuitive mind as well as deeply stored memories. When one person heals unresolved trauma, breaks free from generational trauma, or learns to regulate their nervous system, the impact ripples outward-into their relationships, their parenting, their leadership and their communities. By empowering people with lifelong inner tools rather than dependency, my Organization contributes to a more emotionally conscious, spiritually aware, and psychologically resilient world. My mission is to heal the world one person at a time.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The main characteristics of my work with individuals, couples, families and corporation are; caring deeply, empathy, and the ability to identify fast and with clarity the underlying root cause of the presenting symptoms. I approach all the clients with curiosity, care and the intention to help them transform their lives in a meaningful way. My mission is to heal the world one person at a time. I work on all levels of consciousness and hence offer an integrated, holistic healing approach that encompasses the conscious and subconscious mind, body memory, early relational wounds, energetic patterns and generational trauma. My unique therapeutic approach; the Anagenesis Method creates faster and deeper shifts that lead to significant and long-lasting transformation. My vision is to introduce a therapeutic model that empowers people through integrating the Science of Psychotherapy with Spiritual Wisdom.
Therapists avoid spirituality. Spiritual healers avoid structure and clinical grounding. I bridge the two worlds. I am trained in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Systemic and Family Therapy, Adlerian Theory (psychodynamic psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. I integrate these scientific modalities with Shamanic practices, ceremonial work, energy healing and exploration of the subconscious/intuitive mind. This synthesis of therapeutic modalities is rare and when positioned correctly, powerful for the mind and the soul. In my sessions, I offer an experience through creating altered states of consciousness, introspection, deep inner awareness, trauma release, and identity shifts.
This process empowers my clients to not just process pain but to reclaim their power. I help people process existential crisis, identify and live their soul’s purpose, release ancestral patterns, understand heartbreak as initiation and retrieve their power. I embody my work through being clinically trained, creatively expressive, spiritually practiced, and globally experienced. My main contribution to my community is being the bridge between psychotherapy and spiritual initiation, helping individuals transmute pain into their personal power, and help people realise there is always more in life and they can claim it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My ultimate goal would be to combine local culture, food and glam. I would start with the Santa Monica pier; a walk amongst the gaming arcades and the roller coasters as well as the enchanted tourists walking happily exploring the American life by the ocean. The Venice canals would be the second destination of the day; calming, romantic, feeling like a secret pocket in LA. Dinner at Abbott Kinney or Venice beach at a vibey casual spot.
On the second day; we start with the Griffith Observatory enjoying the golden hour and skyline views. Followed by a stop at Los Feliz/Silver Lake for a drink and dessert. Day three is dedicated to the arts; starting at the magical Getty Villa, lunch at the restaurant of the villa overlooking the ocean. Followed by the Getty Museum and finally dinner at West Hollywood.
Day Four, we will explore the Arts District: murals, coffee and shopping. Dinner at DTLA is a must.
Day five; Melrose farmers’ market and shopping at the boutiques of the glamorous area; walk, snack and people watching. Dinner at the Strand at Manhattan Beach.
Day 6: Malibu is our exotic destination for a walk by the water, el Matador for dramatic cliffs. Point Dume for a short scenic walk and endless ocean views. Sunset Dinner At Sake House Malibu with spectacular views in a serene atmosphere. Day 7: Beverly Hills recreating the “pretty woman’ Rodeo Drive shopping route, people watching and having lunch at the legendary Four Seasons Hotel; Beverly Wiltshire. Drinks at the Hotel Bar will bring memories of Richard Gere playing the piano for Julia Robert’s…

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am the amalgam of all the people who loved me, mentored me, lovingly guided me and hurt me. I owe to them the person I have become and am equally grateful to them all. In my early formative years, my grandmother shaped the way I view the world and she taught me how to pursue my passion in life. She instilled in me, a warrior’s mentality and the notion that everything is available to all of us as long as we claim our destiny and truly believe we will reach our goals. I owe so much to my father who has been a beacon of wisdom, integrity, social commitment, and empathy. He sacrificed so much for his family and friends. I learned that caring should be my most bright guiding star in life. I owe my scientific knowledge to all my professors who believed in me in UK and USA; especially my wise and loving Professor Charlie Lewis, a scholar at Lancaster University. He taught me how to work hard, smart and with people’s best interest at heart. My mentor Gail Carter, Shamanic Practitioner and Kevin Turner Director of the Foundation of Shamanic Studies, Oceania. They gave me the intuitive knowledge of Millenia that is abundantly available to all of us once we connect with the universal wisdom. I have so many dear friends who have encouraged me and loved me unconditionally throughout my life; Maria Verra and Alexandra Diakopoulou have a very special place in my heart and soul. My thousands of clients over the last 3 decades have shaped me, taught me so much and helped me become the therapist I am today, I have so much adoration, care and empathy for all the individuals I have interacted with over the years. I owe you all so much…
