We had the good fortune of connecting with Adam Chambers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adam, what’s the most important think you’ve done for your children?
My baby girl is just 10 months old. So raising a baby now for four months in a quarantine is really unique. We have been able to be so present with her and really been able to focus on her and we are seeing how much she in thriving from all the focused attention.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started the LOFT Ensemble Theatre company 14 years ago in a space in the downtown arts district of Los Angeles. We were in our space for almost 10 years down there. Then moved to Sherman Oaks and built a new space for about 3 years then renovated 2 bigger spaces and moved to North Hollywood. Patience and dedication are key. Staying motivated and hopefully motivating others is the only way this could have been possible. I did not do this alone.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I love Zuma beach up in Malibu so I would definitely take someone there. 3rd street and the Pier are always great for a new visitor and hop on a bird scooter and roll down to Venice or Abbott Kinney. I’m big into making flower arrangements for my wife and daughter so I really enjoy going downtown to the flower district and walking around. There is so much to see in that area. So much food and a lot going on. My friends and I go to the Santa Anita racetracks and it’s so much fun. The place is a time warp and it’s massive. But I’m from SoCal so you gotta do In & Out and Rubio’s fish tacos
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
LOFT Ensemble Theatre and all the members. My wife, Amanda Chambers and my best friend and life coach Sean Muramatsu
