We had the good fortune of connecting with Amoré The Songstress and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amoré, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am from Los Angeles Ca but have been a resident of the Inland Empire for over 20yrs so I rep both areas because my experiences in both places have made me the woman I am today. Raised in a single parent home with a hardworking yet very loving Mother who has always supported my goals and dreams. She saw who I was before I was even sure and till this day pushes me to reach for the stars because I am greatness. I can’t wait to tell her “Mom you can retire, now go live your best life on me”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am Storyteller and through Music I can express myself the best. I mean there are so many singers in the world right and I truly feel some have the talent and some are assigned by the creator to make impact through music, for change. I’ve never been one that fits in the crowd or go along with the joneses to gain popularity etc. I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum and am very confident in who I am  and what I create musically. RnB is the music of my soul it represents to me Love, Unity Hope. I’ve been pushing as an Indie artist for over 20yrs has its ups and downs but I have Faith and know if I stay focused on my goals I will get to the levels I’ve always dreamed about. 2022 I will be releasing my first ever EP called “Finally” in which I will narrate the journey of a woman, mother, wife and dreamer the trials and triumphs of life and love. I like to highlight things we may think about but either are scared to say but really should. Bringing a sultry vibe and powerful messages in each of my songs. I want to inspire those women who are dreamers but feel they can’t attain because of the many hats they may wear. You don’t have to give up on your passion. It’s all apart of who we are.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely take trip from the IE to LA and Hollywood area.  There is so much to see so much History of creatives and their successes. Starting in the IE Hiking at Mt. Rubidoux fresh air fresh start always sets the tone. Downtown La The Alley as we know for their shopping needs I mean they have everything and then I would also take them to some good food spots BossaNova, Simply Wholesome, Woodys BBQ in my old hood which are some of my favorite spots to dine and then of course we have got to hit some live Jam sessions and so much more. Museums the works!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Omg there is so many in my Village that hold me up and motivate me to keep striving. My very my family husband and 3 children, my REAL friends and LOYAL supporters who show up for me no matter what, whether it’s a show, sharing my content or have given me an opportunity to showcase my talent. Those that meet me and are inspired by my gift and last but not least my Music Team My Squad!!! They are my Rock when I have my human moments of doubt. Endquote, Deb & Ellen, Terra & Keyona, My Band, my Bgvs. Rickie & Tiff My Movement Coach Cat My Tribe. When I’m weak their belief in me keep me strong and remind me that I will make it to my Finish line to inspire the World.
