We had the good fortune of connecting with Arie Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Arie, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I always start my morning on the right side of the bed. How do I do that? I wake up and intentionally set the tone for the day. I play my favorite feel good playlist. I then read a passage in one of my devotional books (I have about 6 I switch between) and then I get on my IG live everyday at 8am and spread the knowledge from the word I just took in. This initially started small but now many people tune in on a daily basis waiting for these morning chats! It’s amazing watching it grow. Being able to inspire people before I even start the day sets the tone in a positive manner for me.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Destination HER has become a place for women to come to daily and grab business tips, motivation, inspo and community on a daily basis. Being able to help women launch successful businesses during a pandemic has been such a blessing. Not only have we set up businesses from A-Z , we have also caused a shift in mindset upon these bosses. The impact we have been able to set upon people is nothing short of a blessing from above.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my bestie Michelle was in town it would start with a hike at Fryman in Studio City followed by a large Acai bowl from Ubatuba. The one in Sherman Oaks makes them the best in my mind. Then we would head off to Zuma beach for some rest and relaxation. Being in nature is such a vibe for me. It replenishes my spirit and mind. I think everyone deserves some guidance to that type of vibe. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Major shoutout to my business partner Billie Jo Garcia who keeps me on my toes at all times. I bring the crazy ideas and she brings them to life and sometimes it’s vice versa! It’s dope to have a dope team who not only believes in the vision but see’s the vision!
