We had the good fortune of connecting with Brenna McGowan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brenna, what do you attribute your success to?
I think there are many factors to my success, but the most important factor has been pressing forward—even when I have felt insecure, unqualifired and overwhelmed.
I’ve had to rely on taking small steps in the right direction in order to slowly lay a foundation and gain momentum in my business.
What should our readers know about your business?
I started my business as a social media manager on a whim April of 2018. I pivoted to email copywriting and have never looked back. I love helping my clients look for everyday stories that they can weave into their content to build know, like and trust
My expertise is helping my clients get the confetti out of their head and into story-based, personality-filled emails that sell. As of late, I’ve really been turning my attention to helping my clients with pre-launches. Most online business owners don’t realize that the key to having successful launches of their products, courses and services is actually determined in the weeks preceding their launches. My unique approach to helping customers plan out their pre-launch and launch using a mix of strategy, personality and story-telling is what sets me apart from others in my industry.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, since I live in a tiny rural town in Northern California I’d travel a bit and take them to Lake Tahoe to hang out by the lake, paddleboard (summertime), hike and stay in a cozy cabin.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shoutout series to my husband, Cole. I couldn’t do life or business without him.
