We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Crush and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittney, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m an Afro-Latina independent recording artist, songwriter and actress. As of recently I’ve had the opportunity to sing the National anthem for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, release my new music video “Window” as well as continue to sharpen my songwriting pen and write for other female Pop and R&B artist. I really enjoy natural raw musicianship, hence why I very often perform live shows with my band accompanying me. I write and perform catchy melodies and cadences, but my tone and sound can be very soulful and passionate so I tend to go back and forth between both Pop and R&B genres.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s only right that we start with a morning hike and then brunch and mimosas maybe at Blu Jam or something like that. Then Id love to do some thrifting around the city. Lastly, I’d love to catch a drive in movie at night and maybe grab some food from a bomb food truck.
My support system and team, especially my loved ones who are in my tight knit circle. Thank you for your support, encouragement and patience with me as I’ve been on this journey chasing my dreams. To my mom who nourished this seed and started this ride with me, thank you ❤️
