We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Marin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, what is the most important factor behind your success?
One of the most important factors in maintaining success behind a brand would be to keep the message bold and clear. She Wolf Moto Co. was created to empower other womxn riders, and raise animal awareness together. It’s a sense of community, and support for all living things. Having a brand that is not just a merch company, but an all inclusive lifestyle. There would be no success without support. Thankful for each and every individual who I’ve come across within the brand existing.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I curated a Women’s Vegan motorcycle merchandise company named She Wolf Moto Co. It has a spooky horror-type aesthetic with a twist of music and retro inspiration. We’ve collaborated with several local artists for our designs, and I feel it really brings the community tighter, in support of one another. With a percentage of our proceeds, we donate to different animal charities each month. Pre-pandemic, we were beginning to host group rides to shelters/rescues to give treats and love on all the animals. Our goal is to help all animals by raising awareness within the motorcycle community. Eventually, we’d like to create sustainable/eco-friendly vegan moto gear as a leather alternative. It’s something that I’ve been researching the past few years of existing, and is still quite a challenge. The materials I’ve looked into aren’t as accessible for smaller brands. In the meantime, I am constantly learning as it is building, hoping the rest of the proceeds from the merch will help us get to our goal someday.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting from out of town, I’d love to show them around on my motorcycle. I’d most likely take them to all my favorite vegan restaurants in Orange and LA County. I would show them through Angeles Crest Highway or Mulholland Drive to enjoy the scenery, then cruise to the Griffith Observatory for the view. I’m really into movies/filming locations and haunted history, which Los Angeles has endless sights for that in which I’d love to share with them. During the night, I’d most likely take them to see abandoned, creepy haunted buildings because I am obsessed. We would visit Disneyland, of course, and maybe catch a Dodger Game (if in season). Maybe head to Joshua Tree for the weekend to experience the desert days, then possibly a ride up through the central coast.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to give a special shoutout to my partner, close friends and family, who have been there since it was just a thought bubble in my mind. My partner helps with designs, sets up and helps vend at events, I’d definitely be lost without him.To my amazing friends and family, who take the time to support events we attend, or buy a t-shirt because they’d like to contribute. I would most likely still be sitting on this idea if it weren’t for those that pushed me to become what it is today. Super grateful for you. You know who you are!
