We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Seals and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Making sure I chose to do what I love . I enjoy working for self as I love catering and communicating to people . Doing something you love automatically gives you energy for the next work day

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started working in retail with a work permit at the age of 14 …. fashion has always been my passion . I managed a well known clothing store The lark until it went out business in 2010 and started my own with all the knoweledge I was fed from the previous owner Lenny Rothschild . I stayed consistent and always pushed and supported other brands . That circulates back to my success . It wasnt easy everyday and still today is a learning process . One of the biggest lessons is to not go into partnership with anyone who don’t have the same goals or passion . I want the world to know that not only do I own a boutique I house other small brands on my store as well to give them opportunity and to teach them some of the things that helped me become success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend came in town I would take her to the feature womanish exhibit that’s down town , take her too the new ooo wee sweet tea resturant that just recently open as its black owned (food is good and great atmosphere . Would also take her around to the local comedy events hosted by Just Nesh and Corey Bell

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
P.L. Scott without her my fan base wouldn’t understand my vision as she is a dope artist that brings my visions to life
