We had the good fortune of connecting with Elsha Kim and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elsha, what is success?
Waking up thankful each day. Fully loving my family and friends. Fulfillment in my work. Vibrant health in my body and spirit. Living for a purpose bigger than myself. Freedom of movement and time. Financial Freedom. More or less in that order.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It took a lot of figuring out.
Today I’m an actor and the founder of BRONZEBUM™ but previously I was a loan officer, telemarketer, receptionist… the list goes on.
This to say, if you’re not sure of what you want to do, that’s okay. Take the next step in front of you. To expound upon Theodore Roosevelt when he said “do what you can, with what you have, where you are,” I say do everything you can with what little or lot you have no matter where you are.
Work really hard, and when you feel like you’re working as hard as you can, work just a little harder. And remember to take breaks and give yourself grace.
Get a vision of who you want to become, and the ‘doing’ will follow suit.
Detours and pit stops. It’s all part of the journey. We only get one go-around so make it count. And enjoy the view while you’re at it.
Today I am most proud of taking the risks to start my own business, pursue acting, and get involved in global mission work. I plan to do a whole lot more of these in the future.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to all the podcasts, motivational YouTube videos, friends, pastors, self-help books, mentors, mentors I never personally met, exes, old bosses, family, and random people I met along the way.
