We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Snell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
I think my end goal is inline with most Americans. I’d like to be able to secure enough wealth in my lifetime whilst taking care and providing for my family along the way. I’d like to be able to retire comfortably and continue to be able to live a lifestyle that I’ve grown accustomed to. I would like to be able to look back on my career and know that I made a difference and gave it my all
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what sets our company apart from a majority out there is being family owned. I am the second generation owner and we have been in business, in the same location going on 43 years. One thing I’m most excited or proud about is our employee retention. Most of our employees have been with us for years. We are a family and we treat our employees as such. Armor Moving has gotten to where it is today simply by hard work. I see a lot of other company owners working less hours, taking off time, thinking every day is going to be a money maker. The fact is, every day is not always a great day. Hard work and putting time in now, will hopefully afford me the opportunity of a great retirement later
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I would most likely take them on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. I love Arizona and the culture there. Driving through the mountains and canyons is one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen! We would most likely stop at several bars and breweries along the way, enjoy good BBQ food and just take in the sights
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father Mike Snell would definitely deserve my shoutout. I owe everything to him and he is 100% the reason I am the man I am today.
