We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Furrier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah, what do you attribute your success to?
Gold Baby’s success can be attributed to the relationships with build with our clients.

Our mission is to provide a creative, hands-on experience our clients enjoy, and a finished product they’re obsessed with. Working side-by-side with our clients gives us an up-close understanding of their needs, and gives them a behind-the-scenes look at the thoughtfulness (+ love) that goes into each custom order.

Providing this kind of experience builds an invaluable trust + understanding with our clients, that fosters ongoing relationships that continue to grow.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Gold Baby is a female run company, specializing in custom apparel – mainly for sororities and fraternities! We started our company with the mission of creating clothing inspired by the small things that positively impact and enrich our daily lives. Our focus is to help our clients at each stage of the creative process – from ideation to delivery.

What sets us apart is that we provide a space where our clients can unleash their creativity, and have a hands-on role in designing clothing for their organization.

Gold Baby just celebrated 1 year in business! This past year we’ve grown our team, expanded to schools across the country and ironed out (most) of the inevitable hiccups that come with starting a brand. I’m so proud of the accomplishments we’ve made in such a short period of time, but cannot wait to see what this upcoming year brings (lots of exciting things in the works!).

A lesson I’ve learned this past year is to trust myself. I know this brand, I love this brand, and the direction we’re taking it is MAJOR major. As the brand grows, it’s been important for me to take a step back, appreciate how far we’ve come + trust myself as we tackle the next exciting stages + challenges.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
University of Arizona, Gamma Phi Beta- my college sorority.

I fell in love with designing Greek apparel when I served as Apparel Chair for my chapter. So much so that I made a career out of it! Had it not been for Gamma Phi + my experience in that leadership role, I would not have discovered how much I love this industry. Gold Baby would not exist!
