Meet Harvey TheRealtor: Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Harvey TheRealtor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Harvey, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It was after the traumatic birth of my son Broxton who was born 1lb 9oz and was on life support for 32days. He ended up spending 99 days in the NICU and was discharged on my 32nd birthday! That life changing event made me realize I needed to do the things I said I wanted to do. It really put things in perspective.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been so blessed to have had a incredible client base from my 17 years at Hotel Amarano Burbank. When I got my real estate licenses in 2014 I hit the ground running. It was my hard work ethic and relationship with so many people I already had a relationship with that was really my foundation of my real estate business and success. Starting a new business especially a business that is as competitive as real estate definitely isn’t easy. Unless you are in this business you don’t realize it’s 365 days a year and you are always available to your clients. I feel like if you are providing a service you need to be available. This is important when you build your business ! I would just want people to know that I am grateful for everyone who has given me the opportunity to be of service . Hard work pays off and there isn’t a shortcut to success. The incredible thing about real estate is no two deals are the same. Every deal presents its own challenges but it’s those challenges that allow you to utilize your knowledge and experience to do the very best job for your clients and make their real estate goals a reality. With that you are forever learning either with new guidelines and market changes or with the issues that are presented throughout the escrow period. Again no two deals are the same and it’s that which allows you to continually learn.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well LA is definitely a city that’s offers so much. I feel the number one attraction to Los Angeles is the weather with it being warm and sunny most of the year so hitting up one of the many beaches is always a must. If you love sports the teams here is LA are that of champions. LA also offers some of the most delicious dining and nightlife experiences you can find (pre covid) . For me personally I am into working out. LA has the best star studded, calorie burning, muscle pumping classes all over town. Some of my favorites are Sweat Cycle which is a heated spin class you will absolute love located in Toluca Lake and DTLA, incredible HIIT workouts at Training Mate (Studio City, WeHo, Santa Monica) and a killer pump with weight training at Novo Body in Encino!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife Kelly and my son Broxton who have always supported and believed in me and inspired me to always #livelikeabroxstar
