We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacek Lazuka and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacek, how do you think about risk?
Risk is LIfe. Life is Risk, I watched from a distance on my routine morning walk at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach. A Diver being floated to the shore by two women swimmers. Thinking how pleasant that must of been for the diver as he floated into death and floated into the next life. My son and i were on FaceTime and we watched the EMT personnel attempt to save this happy soul. I said to my son, this a one of the most pleasant deaths i seen in my life, for life can be brutal. I recall being T-Boned and breaking my neck in 2017 alone in a small toyota truck in the middle of forest on a winding road in Oregon. No one is promised tomorrow. That being said, i love being me as a painter. I love watching paint dry. It is only a matter of time.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
-My Art is my narrative of my world view, a visual undertaking in one of the most classical ways given as a gift of visual arts, a painter. -I Paint because i have too. It is me and i am it. A painter in all definitions of the word, an Artist to my very core.
-My ambitions in always creating something new defines my determination to grow as a human being. I like changing styles and growing in most particular ways like nature. Always stretching out for the most light these days and maintaining a healthy schedule in diet and routine helps me during 2020 and beyond. As it were in the beginning always new. I found a schedule maintained longer progress, more consistently. I’m in it for the long haul, i’m always going to paint for myself and share my self with the world as their is my service.
-My Faith in the Lord has brought me through the most darkest of times and without His Grace i would not be sharing this with you. Keeping the Faith has been a life long lesson which has given me much confidence in the work i do. I progress knowing that my most high self will be attained. The best verse of my self will always be the striving goal and as i do that i hope the my narrative gives light to those that see my works.
-Lessons i have learned along the way. You be you and i’ll be me.
-Art is an expression of an out word emotional physical manifestation of what’s going on inside of a person at the very time.
-An Artist lives in their imagination of what is being and what is becoming.
-It’s never to0 late for the whole world is nothing but tomorrows.
-Sometimes truth isn’t enough, sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
-It’s not like you learn something important during the best time in your life. It’s actually during your worst times in life you learn the most.
-What is left when you destroy your own ideal?? Nothing, It is time to rebuild.
-Art chose me and i agreed with much Grace.
