We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazz From The Valley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazz From The Valley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Since we last spoke, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the kinds of conversations I was having with people through music and social media. When we last connected, I was focused on releasing new music, and that part of my creativity will always be important to me. But during that time, I kept noticing a pattern in the conversations people were having with me. A lot of people were opening up about feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to navigate different phases of life.

What really caught my attention was how many people were turning to technology and even AI for emotional support. That made me start thinking deeply about the role technology could play in helping people navigate their lives in a healthier and more intentional way.

That curiosity is what led me to start building Eirene, (Air-reen) an adaptive wellness platform designed to provide personalized support that evolves as someone’s life changes. Instead of fixed programs or one-size-fits-all advice, the idea is to create a system that learns from how people live, feel, and grow so the guidance adapts alongside them.

For me, it doesn’t feel like a departure from music — it feels like an extension of the same purpose. Music has always been about connection and storytelling. Building Eirene is another way for me to explore that same mission, just through technology instead of a song.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Building on what I mentioned earlier, starting Eirene (Air-Reen) came from a lot of the conversations and observations I was having through music and social media. I kept noticing how many people were trying to navigate their emotional wellbeing through a mix of apps, algorithms, and online advice, but most of those tools weren’t really designed to grow with someone over time. That realization is what pushed me to start building Eirene.

Eirene is an adaptive wellness platform designed to provide personalized support that evolves alongside a person’s life. Instead of fixed programs or one-size-fits-all guidance, the idea is to create something that learns from how people live, feel, and grow so the support becomes more relevant over time. What excites me most is the possibility of creating a technology that actually helps people reconnect with themselves and make more intentional choices in their daily lives.

The journey into building it definitely hasn’t been easy. Coming from a creative background, stepping into the world of technology and entrepreneurship meant learning an entirely new language. I had to teach myself a lot, experiment with different tools, and be comfortable figuring things out as I went. But in a lot of ways, that process reminded me of being an independent artist — you learn resilience, adaptability, and how to trust your instincts even when the path isn’t clearly laid out.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned so far is that growth often comes from being willing to explore new directions, even if they feel unfamiliar at first. The same creativity that fuels music can also be applied to building ideas, solving problems, and imagining better systems for how people live.

What I want people to understand most about Eirene is that it’s ultimately about connection — connection with yourself, your wellbeing, and the way you move through life. My hope is to build something that feels genuinely supportive and evolves alongside the people who use it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of the things I love most about Los Angeles is how many different neighborhoods and experiences you can have depending on where you go. A spot I really enjoy is JOEY’S in Woodland Hills. It’s a great restaurant with really good food and a nice atmosphere, and it’s one of those places where you can go for dinner with friends or just relax and enjoy a good meal.

I also like spending time around The Grove. It’s fun to walk around, grab coffee, and just enjoy the energy of the city. When I’m in the mood for something creative or inspiring, I like visiting the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Being around art always sparks new ideas for me.

And when I want to unwind or clear my head, I love going near the water at Santa Monica Pier. Being by the ocean is always a good reset and a reminder of how special Los Angeles is.
