Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a therapist who has been teaching social emotional, social skills to children with autism virtually for over a year during the pandemic. In addition to helping my three son’s who are also enrolled in virtual school. It has been challenging and overwhelming but, I have been continuing to push through. Through it all hard work and determination has help me accomplish my goals at the end of the day. I think that is what sets me apart from others…. I never give up and that is how I got to where I am today. I’m a proud mother of 3 beautiful boys, therapist, wife and business owner. Which is not easy.. but, it is exciting when my family and close friends are happy to see my accomplishments. You can currently find Lindo Sorrel (Hibiscus Drink) in a traditional Trinidadian Restaurant called Mia’s Kitchen in Manhattan Beach, CA. We look forward to supplying Lindo Sorrel (Hibiscus Drinks) to many more locations in the near future. What I want the world to know about me & my story is that my brand is built off of hardwork, patience, perseverance, dedication and most importantly love.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whenever one of my best friends visit LA the first area we visit is the beaches along pacific coast highway. Starting where I went to High School “Pacific Palisades” and we go to the points at the Bluffs which is the creme de la creme of views of the Pacific Ocean cliffs and canyons. Next, I like to visit the Getty Villa museum in Malibu. Which is displays Art 4,000 years of ancient culture. While in Malibu I Love to take friends to Paradise Cove Beach Café for lunch where they have excellent tropical drinks. Of course visitors want to visit the famous Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier so I normally split those two locations within two days. The next couple of days we visit and shop in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. Next, we will visit Hollywood and book the TMZ tour guide through the hills. Dinner is usually at TAO which is a pan Asian restaurant known for a quant Quantity Yun statue & trendy crowd. Lastly, we will visit downtown to see a Laker game at the Staple Center.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
