We had the good fortune of connecting with Keisha Tucker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keisha, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
A lot of the time Female actresses and stunt woman have less protection then men for their stunts. As there outfits sometimes show more skin.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an Actress/Stuntwoman. I’m so excited every time I walk into a Television or Movie set to do some action whether it be falling, fighting, driving or whatever. I got to where I am with a lot belief in myself and my abilities and just going for what I’ve always dreamt of. It’s never easy getting to where you want to be. There will always be challenges down the road with people, money, etc. That’s life and you’ll be tested. Just gotta keep trying to pass. I want the world to know that I am here to stay and I will keep doing what I love for the rest of my life!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m more of a home body. But cities in LA to check out would be Venice, Marina Del Rey, Huntington Beach and Santa Monica because of the beaches and people. Also Burbank and North Hollywood have places in my hearts because of the communities
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
