We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Elle Hansen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren Elle, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
It is no coincidence that the astrology industry is on the rise at this moment in time! Saturn is in Aquarius, just like it was in the early 90’s and the mid 60’s (astrology revivals!). Aquarius is the sign of astrology itself, the sign that represents the cosmos and the collective consciousness. As Saturn, the planet of bringing things to reality/career and industry, moves through Aquarius through March of 2o23…expect to see this magical industry increase in relevance. And expect yourself to maybe, just maybe, finally give an astrologer a shot at assisting you in further self-discovery.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being an astrologer is complex. Astrologers begin the journey thinking you are just going to help others see themselves and feel validated in regards to what’s happened in their childhood, the kinds of experiences they are attracted to, the way they process their emotions, the blocks they seem to continually run into, etc…but as astrologers give readings, we continue the study…each of us realize that we get activated with each reading. We get more clarity about ourselves with each reading, and we shift into new forms of ourselves constantly – we become more aware of others gifts we have, besides read the cosmos with enthusiasm and understanding. I am excited to announce that I have discovered I am much more intuitive than I had ever realized, through activating reading after activating reading, I began to wake up to how I do in fact have psychic gifts (officially getting psychic training this April!) and the energy work I have been doing on myself has made me a much more powerful, present and helpful astrologer for clients. What sets me apart from other astrologers is that I am willing, able and open about (finally) the fact that I am here to read you for the purpose of ACTIVATION. I am here to activate clients to their inner knowing that we are all light, we are here to heal, to be compassionate, to create and we are all capable of overcoming obstacles with grace. The challenge has been figuring out how to define myself, and at this point, I define myself as an ever-evolving emissary of light. It’s that simple.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Surprise surprise, the astrologer is going to suggest Griffith Park. I have spent countless sunsets there, staring out at the city lights and looking up to the stars and planets. I can’t think of many more magical places to relax with a friend and discuss life as you look out at the vastness of this huge city. The wide view from Griffith Park supports conversations about how life truly is one long, wide, expansive journey and we do not need to think small or view life from a small lens.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this Shoutout to my dear friend and incredible artist, Bridget Weiser. She handed me the book, The Power of Intention by Wayne W Dyer after I introduced her to astrology years ago. That was the book that opened my eyes to how I would never be just an astrologer, but an astrologer who specifically guides clients on how to walk an intentional, spiritual and powerful path…a higher path that involves accepting we do in fact, co-create with the Universe.
