We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Tahir and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisa, how does your business help the community?
I am passionately committed to working with people to heal through all of the senses of the body by utilizing: intuition, therapy, energy healing, meditation, Reiki healing, crystal healing, nutrition, sound frequencies, yoga, exercise, podcasting, writing, teaching, and speaking on topics related to psychoastrology®️,spirituality, emotional health, mindset, and mental well-being. I incorporate these various modalities and approaches on an individual by individual basis. Everyone sees life through their own eyes, and I am able to connect with the people I serve by seeing through their eyes and thereby tailoring our work together so that they are best served. Through my ability to see people as unique individuals and connect them to resources just right for them, my business helps the world by “Changing Consciousness One Conversation at a Time” through intuitive therapy sessions, Psychoastrology®️, Reiki healing sessions, my All Things Therapy Podcast, and book, “The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness,” endorsed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In addition to being a psychotherapist, podcaster, and author, a personal is creativity through glass art blowing and casting. I have made glass art for over 20 years as a healing modality and part of my self-care. I love the heat, the problem solving aspects of making glass sculpture, and the teamwork. I have long wanted people with disabilities using wheelchairs to have equal access to glass art making, so in 2016 I received a US Patent for my invention, “The CHAIR-iot” for children and adults to safely blow and cast glass from their own wheelchairs safely, I look forward to my invention being used worldwide.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in both New Orleans, LA and Los Angeles, CA. When my best friend visits New Orleans, we eat at amazing places like Commander’s Palace and Jacques-imo’s restaurants, walk in Audubon Park, and stroll the French Quarter. When my best friend visits Los Angeles, we hike to beautiful places like Wisdom Tree in Griffith Park, meditate at beautiful Lake Shrine, Self-Realization Fellowship, eat on Santa Monica Beach at Lobster’s Restaurant, sit and read on the beach in Malibu, and drive up beautiful Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH) taking in all of the ocean view scenery.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama who took his precious time to read and endorse my new book, “I am sure your book, ‘The Chiron Effect, Healing our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness,’ will be of interest to many and will greatly benefit readers.” His Holiness is the embodiment of compassion and empathy, and his recognition of my work is an honor upon my life. I am deeply grateful to him and appreciate him.
