We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariana Parnes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We help our clients navigate through the quirky world of social media influencers, ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly with our unique and creative strategies, to achieve our clients’ goals. After all, Influencer marketing is not as black and white as it seems, and there are many insider strategies that are not always apparent to the outside world. We have the key that unlocks the blueprint to a strong return on your investment in social content, by forecasting and estimating our client’s potential ROI for each campaign. We make this possible due to our proprietary way of tracking and compiling our clients’ sales data, by influencer and per campaign, allowing us to only hire influencers with a proven track record of success.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Such a tough question as there are so many amazing places to go and things to do in LA, but I think I can narrow it down! I LOVE to experience Los Angeles through food as I think it highlights the cultural diversity and really paints a great picture for the City of Angels. I’d start our food tour mapping out a few key stops by neighborhood, tying in cultural experiences to fill in the gaps between meals. We’d start with: DTLA: Eggslut for breakfast, Pizza Nista for lunch, and Bestia for dinner. Drinks at the Nomad Hotel rooftop. Walkthrough Santee Ale for some cheap shopping, visit the Broad and Walt Disney Concert Hall in between meals. Silver Lake: Gagels at Maury’s, day drinking at the Black Cat, dinner at Sushi Osen with a fun walk around Silver Lake Reservoir, and if it’s in season, catching a game at Dodger Stadium. WEHO/Hollywood: Brunch at Blue Jam, drinks at Mama Shelter’s rooftop then dinner at Jon & Vinny’s. We’d hike Runyon Canyon, take pics at the Walk of Fame, shop on Melrose, and visit the Melrose Trading post at Fairfax HS (if it’s Sunday). Santa Monica/ Venice: Brunch at The Butcher’s Daughter, drinks at Zinque, dinner at Misfit. We’d shop around Abbot Kinney in Venice as well as the Santa Monica Promenade, bike through the Venice canals, and soak up some sun by the Santa Monica pier :).
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Success is always a self-measurement of one’s personal effort, but surrounding yourself with the right people and tools to help you pave the way is key! Networking and connecting with brilliant professionals really is a critical piece to success in any industry. Living in LA definitely makes networking in my industry a bit easier as NYC and LA are the main hubs for media talent. This is what led me to meet my business partner, Alejandra Calvente (@theposhstreet), who inspires me daily and keeps me grounded. She’s a great sounding board for anything I need personally or professionally. You can say that she’s my “work wife”, and our business partnership has benefited greatly from the bond we’ve built. We truly have each other’s backs, and carry the same values in life to our business. She pushes me to think outside of the box, challenges me to venture into the unknown, and take risks that I otherwise wouldn’t without her support. She deserves a ton of credit for my success, and I’m very lucky to have found someone that complements my strength and weaknesses so well. Everyone should find themselves an Ale!
