We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Galvan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paige, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
We really try to keep moving forward and making changes in all areas of our life. Facing change bravely and keeping a “growth mindset” is very important for us to teach our children. This will help them adapt and grow.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m really proud of the choreography work I’ve done for Disney Channel. The new music video for “A Place for Us” and the Mickey Mouse Hot Dog Dance video are the most recent. Working with kids is my passion and I love creating fun catchy routines. Disney has been amazing about hiring me for some big projects and I’m super grateful.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My husband and I just bought an amazing home right on the beach in Malibu. We have just fallen in love with the vibe there and the surfing. If we had friends visiting we would jump right into teaching them to surf at Broad Beach and then going to the cute shopping centers in town like the Malibu Country Mart. Also, we are vegan so we’ve been exploring the local eateries and finding our new favorite spots. We love Sage in Agoura Hills and for a quick meal you can’t beat the Vegan pizza from Whole Foods.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Dedicated to my husband, Richard Galvan, who keeps me motivated and feeling strong.
