We had the good fortune of connecting with Raphael Verela and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Raphael, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is what being a business owner is all about. At some point you have to put aside the planing and just do it. It’s never going to be a perfect time to start it. The stars will never align perfectly for you. The perfect time to start is now.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beach for sure and boating in the ocean. The Venice boardwalk is a must see along with all the shops and restaurants in Main Street and Abbot Kenney. Maybe even a hike to the Hollywood sign.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly it’s been a combination of people and events. I’ve learned that no one really does anything in their own. Ive always prided myself on being a master enrolled. I have learned how to enroll people in my vision and let that speak for itself. One book that really helped be was “Multipliers” by by Liz Wiseman. Short list of people in my life that were huge supporters and mentors: Kenny Davis, Oliver Hudson, Gina Nigrelli Smith, Josh Duhamel, James Robinson, David Krintzman, Michael Lushing, Todd Grayson, and my entire staff and team.
