We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara Rewienska and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Believe in yourself, because anything is possible. Moreover, I’m convinced that having a positive self-image and attitude is very important. I believe in “law of attraction” we absolutely do attract the things we focus our efforts on. I can give you here few examples, when I was 20 years old I came to the USA for a very first time. It was my biggest dream to finish master’s degree there. For a person who grew up in Poland, it’s very difficult because first of all – tuition is extremely expensive in compare to education in Poland, and also it’s not easy to be accepted to the university, passing exams not in your native language is a challenge too. However, I knew somehow I will make it, I visualized every morning that I’m studying business in the USA, till it actually happened and on the top of that I received 100% merit tuition waiter, that’s how I was able to graduate with Master’s of Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. While living in USA, I wrote down a list of goals after my graduation. I wrote down: having a fashion/marketing between Dubai-Monaco-Los Angeles, and that’s what I’m doing now. I have a lot of stories like this. My main advice would be write down your goals, work hard till you make it and believe in yourself even if no one does. Remember to be positive and visualize your success every single day. Even if you lack knowledge about an industry you would like to work in, you can teach yourself anything. I learned how to build a website, design clothing, source fabrics, retouch photos in Photoshop, and develop products all from scratch. I enjoyed developing my self-pride and experiences, and now I can look back on them with gratitude and confidence.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started my fashion brand, because I couldn’t find feminine and classy sleepwear on the market. I started designing clothes for myself then just made a brand of it. First and foremost, it all started as my passion and a way of expressing myself and later transitioned to a full time business. I travel so much, so the motto of my brand is “Wear your travel dreams” I want to inspire women to dream bigger and travel more, in order to be independent and pursue own goals and dreams. The promotional video of my brand which portrays this concept was seen by 1 mln people so, I’m really happy that people resonate with it. I believe everyone deserves to feel confident and inspired, and Larimelle was created to help you be just that. The key value in fashion are for me: femininity, class and elegance. These are the cornerstones upon which my brand was built. Inspired by the most spectacular beaches and luxury resorts across the globe, Larimelle encapsulates these beautiful places into timeless pieces our customers can adorn themselves in every day. I specialize in luxury sleepwear, swimsuits, travel and beach accessories that will help our customers make a fabulous impression and create lasting memories, wherever in the world they choose to wear them. My brand does photoshoots at the most luxurious hotels around the world such as Beverly Hills Hotel, Eden Roc or Palazzo Versace in Dubai. Recently, I created a luxury sleepwear line, inspired by Beverly Hills. I want my customers to enjoy my sleepwear collection at home and feel as though they are always on a luxurious vacation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It depends where would that be, whether Dubai or Los Angeles. In Dubai, I live on the Palm Jumeriah so we would definitely start a day on the beach. I live in a place that looks like a luxurious hotel resort, so sometimes I feel like I’m always on vacation. After some time at the beach, we would drive to downtown Dubai, to enjoy lunch at some of my favorite Italian restaurants in DIFC. Later, we would go to Dubai Mall (it’s not your typical mall like in the USA). In Dubai it is a very popular tourist attraction, because you have an amazing underwater zoo there and a lot of fun things to do. In the evening, we would watch a fountain show by the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa – it is a must. Depending on the guest’s preference I always like to do something fun and extraordinary, for example we could go for a safari in the middle of Dubai’s desert, helicopter tour or go for a beach party in the 7 star hotel – Burj Al Arab. When it comes to my favorite restaurants in Dubai I truly recommend: Ossiano, Billionaire and Akira Sushi- I have traveled the world, but those places are really impressive.
In the Los Angeles area, I truly recommend the Beverly Hills hotel, at least for a lunch in order just to feel the vibe of this historical and glamour place. Next, for sure a beach day and biking in Santa Monica, lunch in the Shutters on the Beach and drive in Malibu. I love watching houses in Malibu, maybe it’s time for me to visualize one (laugh). You never know, right?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents. They are my biggest supporters and motivators. They have always believed in me, no matter what I do. Additionally, I “consume” a lot of motivational content and read a lot of books. My favorite motivational speaker is Eric Thomas, he has really shaped a large part of my life. Also, the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hills has been an inspiration for me in so many ways, there are valuable lessons I have learned from it.
