We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Espinosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I can say that the best choices I did in my life were definitely initiate by taking risks. we usually see risks as fear or in negative way. But in reality, It’s the lil boost of energy that wake us up from our comfort zone.
In my personal experiences, all the risks I took are key moment in my professional or personal life.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I will call myself a Creative. I don’t like how life these days need to label you on what you do and you have to stick to it.
I believe in growth.
Yes, I am a dancer, a choreographer and act and model.. ect.
But the totality of the creative I am and my career is based on who I am and who I am becoming. A brand. Like we all are in our own uniqueness.
I am proud of every risks I decided to take in my life so far, but mostly I am proud that I decided to believe in me when no one else did. You’re calling in Life only you can hear and feel it.
My journey was definitely not easy and still a challenge on some days but everything crossing my path is to build me to my full potential in life. All losses, victories, lessons are blessings to our story.
My Motto ‘Lesson’ is to let life teach me, do my best and enjoy the process. Because at the end it’s all in the hard work you put in your process that will be remember and felt in your core. That your success won’t give you the same satisfaction. Success is only a trophy that society preach and use as validation. I bet no one knows your biggest victories in life 😉
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I will definitely take them on a Hike over Malibu Canyon, the views are amazing. Breakfast at aroma cafe in studio city, Love that place.
Then quick stop at the Board museum, love to walk around and get inspired.
I will definitely take them to Lunch at the grove farmer marker, it’s nice to walk around, they have food from different culture Delicious.
Shopping on Melrose avenue, and some quick flic with the dope street art around there.
I will. go grab some “Beignet Box’ in Studio city and go catch a sunset in Manhattan Beach.
Definitely take them to diner at Yamashiro Hollywood, Nice diner with an overview of the city, beautiful at night with all the Hollywood lights.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my family. They always questioned me but always believed in me.lol My number one fans and the Love I get even with the distance is unconditional. Especially this days, I am thankful to have been raised and blessed with an amazing and supportive family.
