We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacii Floyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacii, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Since eighth grade I knew I was going to run my own company. I remember putting a piece of paper that I wrote CEO on my door. Once I found out music was my passion, I dove into the research of business in Music.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After my chronic tonic seizure in 2014 I created a company for music called II productions. A indie company that I could express and utilize my talents. Starting this brand sent me on a new mission. It helped me feel like it was the start of overcoming some challenges in my life that I had to face medically. I moved to LA, and came up with the best business I could ever come up with which is advocating for epilepsy through music call the Brainstorming Epilepsy Festival. I started this business because I want to people that were diagnosed with my condition To enjoy life. Happiness and hope can cure all. That was my motto for this business. Both are ran by myself La based.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
That is a great question. There’s so many great things to do in Los Angeles. First, I would have to take them to the walk of fame. Second, we would have to eat at fat burger. And last, you can’t go without being on the beach.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out has doing wonderful things for my organization Pro world life. They have highlighted some of the most influential people that are connected in our organization. My name is Stacii Floyd I am also a member. I was a student at Dallas media tech institute. This was for recording engineer. I always wanted to be a musician. So I thought this would be my best route. I also advocate for epilepsy because in 2014. I was diagnosed with it. The decision to advocate for this was truly a remarkable experience that still is a movement to this day. Also, as you know I’m always producing, recording, and songwriting. I feel like you could overcome anything if you put your mind to it. If you live in doubt, a condition, or anything in between stop you then you were giving control to whatever problem you have.
