We had the good fortune of connecting with Sunny B. Yazdani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sunny, why did you pursue a creative career?
This is a very good question that I was asked before, and every time I had to mention the opportunities has given to me to pursue an artistic and creative career but the honest answer is art and creativity have been the only things I am good at them and I can understand clearly. Art is my language!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m proud of my journey of learning and growing in Illustration and Motion Design. I have learnt to be more patient and used my extra time to see and study.
I belive constant learning, abserving and connecting with the artists I admire help me to navigate what I want from my professional life. And obviously like everyone, I have faced so many challenges throughout my journey as designer and If I want to mention a couple of them that I tried so hard to gain my confidence back constantly and trust and love what I create and also Insecurity. A lot of the time fear actually holds me down from so many wonderful opportunities.
To belive in myself and my art!
I want the world to know Sunny is here to create your imaginations with her colors and lights!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My to-go place in downtime is Blue Bottle Coffee! You gotta try their lovely cold brew and house-roasted beans.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Illustration mentor Hannah Cunningham
