We had the good fortune of connecting with Talia ” Tata H” Hollins (MBA) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Talia ” Tata H”, what do you attribute your success to?
One of the most salient things that attribute to the success of my brand is perseverance. Being an entrepreneur and curating your brand can be a daunting task. The fear of not being successful can cause one to encounter many barriers. However, embodying the idea of “keep going.” Pushing thru helps build character, humility, and of course, a solid brand.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is I am humbled and grateful. I treat every encounter as an opportunity for further greatness.
Along with being an entrepreneur and a certified Facebook community group facilitator and admin, I am also a tutor and a paraprofessional at the university level.
I am most proud to be curating a legacy for my children through my entrepreneurial pursuits, personal development, and working with other entrepreneurs.
The lesson that I’ve learned in my professional and entrepreneurial pursuit is it is okay to start over.
People fear the idea of going back to the drawing table. Being an entrepreneur, you may have to go back to the drawing table to reassess how to become successful in your business. It is better to start all over than to give up.
I want the world to know about my brand as my story is much like plants. Much like plants, I started from the dirt. It is hard to see success in the future. With the appropriate nourishment, care, one can develop to shift like a beautiful plant.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The best place to hang out in my area is Santa Monica beach , for day time R&R.
Then to DTLA, for a rooftop Dinner at the Perch
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
