We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Luciano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
In the most simple terms, trust your gut! I have learned over the years from my mistakes in not trusting my gut feeling or intuition. That voice in my head that steers me in a certain direction (right or wrong) and then I second guess myself. The more I calm the noise and surrender to my own intuition and knowledge, the more I am able to trust and have confidence in my decisions. When I bought my first LightMD Photobiomodulation device, I didn’t know the gravity of the effect it would have on my life, both personally and professionally. First, the light saved me from having to go under the knife. I was able to avoid a cervical spine surgery (with an implant) to correct the reverse curvature of my neck after being injured in a car accident. Abstaining from neck surgery was a conscious decision I made to avoid future neck surgeries, as that is the typical progression after the first. I was able to utilize my LightMD device to regain nerve sensation and feeling in my right arm again, which had been diagnosed ‘permanently disabled’ from said accident. The consistently painful muscle spasms in my neck, chest, and shoulders were relieved and finally able to relax and calm the spasms. The herniated discs were then able to reabsorb into their space naturally, relieving more pain and enabling me to get back to being active again. In combination, the decisions to abstain from surgery and purchase a LightMD device to help my body heal naturally were the best decisions for my life. Before my accident, I knew in my gut that Light would have a tremendous impact in my life, I just didn’t know how. After this life altering trauma, LightMD was literally the hope and relief I was looking for. After my own healing journey, I made a decision to become a certified Light Therapist and began treating people and pets. This was not easy because during that time, Light Therapy was mostly unknown. Most people thought I was a strange scientist excited by some weird red light, while I was shouting on a mountaintop to anyone who would listen about the benefits. Through it all, I NEVER GAVE UP! It took nearly 8 years for Light Therapy to become more recognized as a viable therapeutic option for pain relief, relaxation, brain health, and beauty. I trusted my gut, trusted my intuition, and trusted myself to stick with it. I continue to remind myself that Light is my true calling and my destiny; to keep shining my Light and sharing the tremendous health benefits of this modality with the world. I will never give up on my mission and my dream, to change the paradigm of health from toxic drugs and invasive procedures to a more natural approach. One that works by using non-ionizing light and pulsed frequencies to help the body to heal itself on a cellular level.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
UltraRed Light is your one-stop Photobiomodulation Therapy (or Light Therapy) Provider in LA and OC. We are pioneers in the newly emerging field of PBM. I personally have over 12 years of experience working with LightMD. What sets our company and service apart from others is our vast experience using PBT, our adaptability, and our customizable frequencies. Not only do we treat people of all ages, but we treat your pets and horses too! The same device (with different pads for animals) can be used to help someone with back, neck, or arthritic pain relief, a light facial, hair regeneration, and stress relief. This is because we have the most advanced, specialized PBM system on the planet, which uses specific pulsed frequencies and super-luminous LEDs to delivery varying wavelengths. The pulsed frequencies allow us to target specific tissue types, and this is a major difference between us and all of the consumer devices on the market (such as panels and wands). Persistence breaking down resistance, following my gut, and not giving up when things got impossibly difficult is how I got to where I am today. Sharing my passion of Light and pain relief with anyone who will listen for themselves or their loved ones keeps me motivated. Our success stories and cases are extraordinary and truly life changing for our clients. We love what we do and want to make a huge impact on the health of humanity. Our small clinic enables us to serve our clients on a day to day basis and improve the quality of life for every person and pet. I am so excited that this industry is newly emerging into the mainstream and that more people will recognize that PBM works and has no negative side effects as long as one is hydrated. There are no drugs to take, needles to be poked with, knifes to cut, nothing but low level pulsed Light! Uniting with my true love and life partner, Jeff, helped me to expand my business ideas and move from mobile home-based service to having an actual location for people to come. ‘If you build, they will come’ came true for us, and we are so proud to serve our extended community. UltraRed Light is the Southern California LightMD Branch, which gives us the ability to sell devices, educate and train customers, and support individuals, doctors, hospitals, and business owners how to get the most out of this incredible PBM device. UltraRed Light just joined a Medical Doctor and Chiropractor in Newport Beach to provide our Light Therapy to patients under one roof, specializing in regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, A.R.T., and LightMD. Our reach is global as this technology is adopted in more communities around the world.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my biggest supporter and love, my rock Jeff McKeever. I met Jeff over 4 years ago, and was lucky and persistent enough to win his whole heart. Since then, he joined my mission with Light and has been the best team mate, best friend, and biggest ally both personally and professionally. Jeff quit his job to join forces, support me and the business, and learn everything he needed to know to become a certified Light Therapist. We go hand in hand in our mission to share Light with the world. I am so grateful for his love and constant encouragement to pursue my goals and dreams. When we get recognized for our work, Jeff inspires me to lead and incites me to shine the brightest from my experiences.
