We had the good fortune of connecting with Addie Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Addie, how do you think about risk?
Taking a risk is the scariest but also gives you the most rewarding outcome. In order to grow and succeed in life you need to take risks and put yourself in uncomfortable situations. The scariest thing I have ever done was quit a consistent salary job to start my own company knowing it would take time to make money / not knowing if I would make any money at all. This was the best risk I have ever taken because the outcome of having my own company gives me the freedom and money I never expected.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a luxury travel advisor working with leisure and corporate clients booking hotels and luxury travel worldwide. I have no fee’s with my services, which sets me apart from others in my industry. I am partnered with luxury hotels allowing me to provide my clients the best experience and saving them money, It took a lot of time and effort to get the amount of clients I have today, it didn’t happen over night. I didn’t start with a client base, I had to get all my clients myself via referrals, word of mouth & marketing. I am still growing and learning everyday as it’s an ever changing and evolving industry. I’m very honest and transparent with my clients, giving them the truth, piece of mind while traveling and endless assistance. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t have the company I have today without my past jobs and experiences. Starting with the hospitality management program at UNLV during college and working in my first hotel job at The Bellagio in Las Vegas. Entering the luxury hotel industry & going through the management & mentorship program while working at Montage Resorts. Getting into the events industry & working with a startup company and learning from a CEO herself Lisa Michaelis on savvy business skills. Lastly getting into the luxury travel industry with my affiliate host agency Smartflyer who provides tremendous amounts of support and encouragement for my company.
