We had the good fortune of connecting with Ben Jacoby and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ben, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I truly believe in the saying:” The bigger the risk, the greater the (Potential) reward.”

Most of what I have achieved in life personally and career-wise involved quite a bit of risk-taking, in extreme sports and in business equally.

Risk-taking is inevitable for any entrepreneur who wants to succeed in this world. The question is, how good are you at calculating those risks? Are you courageous and smart, or just fearless and reckless?

What should our readers know about your business?
Kardo Creative LLC is a Business Management and Marketing company; our main focus is to provide back-office, marketing, and consulting services to dozens of brands nationwide, mostly in the home services industry.

Like many other successful businesses, Kardo Creative became what it is today out of an essential need; as our operations were growing in several states, we needed to have a strong and agile backbone to manage our companies. As time went on, we started offering our services to other companies as well.

With a good amount of self-discipline and the right approach, you can succeed in almost anything in life. I feel fortunate to have realized that at an early stage in my career. Putting in the “Extra” hours and aiming for the long run have become a belief.

As an entrepreneur, everything that is not pure leisure can be considered “work,” Having that mindset drives you never to stop thinking about how your ventures can be improved and become more successful overall.

When people say you have to have balance in life, it does not necessarily mean you have to “take it down a notch” and slow down; it just means you need to grow on the personal and professional side simultaneously.

Throughout my adulthood, I have also been making efforts to focus on my personal development, whether through seminars and courses I have taken or through personal achievements in the extreme sports world.

When growth appears, and you see the results, you are motivated to reinvest your time and resources.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
5:30 AM- Wake up before sunrise, and hike up the famous “Runyon Canyon” to see the sunrise.

7:00 AM- Drive an hour and a half east to “Lake Elsinore” and go Skydiving (yes, jump out of a plane). On a good day, you can see the snowy mountains and the ocean at the same time!

3:00 PM- Head to Grand Central Market( Downtown LA) to have a burger at Belcampo Butcher Shop.

5:00 PM- Sunset drinks and swim in the pool at the rooftop bar at The Ace Hotel.

9:00 PM- Go out for cocktails at “Good Times At Davey Wayne’s” in Hollywood.

12:00 AM- Go to a mansion party in the Hollywood Hills and feel like you’re in the movies.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Growing up in Israel contributed greatly to my success in life. It is a nation so small yet rich in history and countless stories on how we have survived against all odds. Enrolling in the IDF( Israeli Defence Forces) at the age of 18 really got a good amount of discipline in me.
