We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina Ramos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cristina, what principle do you value most?
Authenticity In todays world there is a lack of transparency and directness out of fear of losing business. In the line of work that I do, honesty and realness becomes an asset. Nobody likes to be deceived weather in personal relationships or business. When you are authentic up front, things are easier for all parties involved.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It’s been a steady climb, I started from the bottom and I’m still making my way up. I appreciate the struggle because it makes you resilient. There is always goals ahead which makes the journey interesting. I’ve learned that sometimes you can’t wait for motivation and inspiration to strike you. A lot of it comes from discipline.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If someone came to visit me to LA I would probably drive them to all the places around LA except LA. I think there are so many different natural environments to go enjoy nature. And probably hit the taco trucks for dinner. They are such a staple of LA culture. Maybe go to a concert at the many venues but it depends who’s playing.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s way too many people to mention if it was the case. It’s been a solo journey for the most part. I would have to mention everybody or no one.
