We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Zivetz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I became interested in computers and networks about 20 yrs ago and bought my first PC. It was a simple Dell. I became interested in how it worked and how to fix issues that came up. There was a local computer repair shop I found where I took my Dell to several times. I became more interested in how things worked by observing the techs at the shop and asking questions. I found out that I could earn a cerificate in how Windows worked so I enrolled in a local school to learn and get the degree. I took out a student loan and spent a good 3-4 years attending classes and preparing for the Microsoft cerification exams. I passed some of the exams and earned a Comp Tia A+ certificate and a Microsoft Certified Professional certificate. The owner of the school recognized my skill and understanding of the material and sent me to some of his friends who were having PC issues. That was the start of my business. I decided to go for it on my own with my own PC and network business and thus West LA Computer Expert was created!

What should our readers know about your business?
West LA Computer Expert is a fine business that services PC and network owners in West Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Feedback! My buinsess in prized by it’s customers, earing 5 Stars on Yelp, Google Places and Angies List. I built the business on referals from happy customers, my website( which I built) and review sites listings. There are definately challanging times where business is slow but I usually gain buisness as the weeks progress and I stay very busy. I am very patient with my clients and listen actively when they come to me with an issue. I can usually gauge their familiarity with computers and netwrok and adjust my approach to interacting with them based on my intuition. I have 20 yrs of experience in the field so I present a qualified, knowledgable persona to all my clients and they respond positively.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, I have to say that during the current Pandemic, the choices are limited as far as where to socialize. Outdoor dining is permitted where I live and I believe that most of the parks and beaches are open, I would always wear a mask and keep physically distanced.
