We had the good fortune of connecting with Darren Demma and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Darren, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
I think the most important decision I have made that’s contributed to my success if you can call it that is my willingness to give it my all . I did everything I could to make it in tattooing I went full time all out right from the start and literally starved and was broke for years before I even made a break in my career. even now I still refuse to get stagnant and think I have made it to the top of the hill
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I don’t think I’m very different from a lot of other artist I just try to be myself and not really care if people like what I’m doing as long as I like it.
Getting to this point 11 years later was anything but easy. I only made it this far because I refuse to settle and wanted this more then anything.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Anyone coming to the Southern California area I’d take to Frank and sons and just nerd out
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Dedicate it to myself cuz not one single person was in my corner for most of my career
