We had the good fortune of connecting with George and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I take risks everyday, everyone does. But for me it’s if the pros weigh out the cons. Not saying I never took a risk and it didn’t go my way, but I never let a fall keep me from risking it again I’ve traveled to different states off just the risk n made it back better everytime. Came a long way off risk taking and I got bigger ones coming.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I think sets me apart is my influence to the suburban kids growing up and seeing me and relating to me and feeling like we’re the same but I’m over in places they wouldn’t go or couldn’t go. I’m proud of who I am today n who I’m becoming I’m excited to get all these boxes checked with promotion n distribution for the Boston George tapes, it’s been a long wait but we closer then close. I got here today by never doubting me my brothers around me, and by taking risks to get what I want n need. No it wasn’t easy nothing worth getting is. But it’s worth everything that comes with it. Money is not everything and you can’t be scared to spend it. It takes money to make money so you gotta invest in you, and for making I’ll tell you when I get there

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite food spot in the city is Tender Greens, it’s a hidden gem and low key almost restaurant style fast food. Most people always say In & Out or something typical so I gotta say Tender Greens. As far as a studio I like all the big known studios in LA but another hidden gem I love recording at is RZN studios. They have a bunch of different studio room layouts and you can really get your bang for your buck there and they have some solid engineers shout out to them!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Man it’s a few of them that played major roles in my story n to who I am today obviously my whole family my mother my father,a lot of knowledge from my brother Billy, my sister always was there when I was losing my ways a little. Lisa a business owner who showed me how to carry yourself in ways, a lot of work with my right hand Ben all around the board we came a long way n it’s due.
