We had the good fortune of connecting with Gerran Reese and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gerran, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
That it’s the most disciplined craft! It takes years to truly master & dedication. The journey of it all is the true success.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others would be my vulnerability. I would consider it my super power & it’s allowed me to truly connect with others & my art. I’ve gotten where i am today by faith. I’ve always known I’d have my dreams come true beyond any obstacles or challenges. This sense was just always in my gut intuition.
It hasn’t been the easiest road but it’s bee truly worth it. I’ve learned to let go of fear. I’ve learned to heal. Ive learned to be patient with myself and allow grace with my growth. I’ve also learned that art is truly limitless. I want the world to know that what you see now is just the beginning. Dance and movement are part of my life’s purpose. Im blessed to do what i do for a living. Gerran Reese is here, join me and enjoy!
