We had the good fortune of connecting with Kfir Matalon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kfir, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
To have a meaningful purpose in life. Many who have achieved fame and fortune found that their “success” did not guarantee happiness. even if you attain your sought after goal or prestige, life can get suddenly disoriented and wearisome if it lack a noble purpose. I think on the words of king Solomon at Ecclesiastes, He accomplished so many wonderful projects but realized that without a meaningful purpose his life will be illustrate to someone that is chasing after the wind. I found out that the most meaningful purpose in life is to help others and the claim that “there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving” is completely true.

Jerusalem Sandals was an Idea of my wife Angela we started it together on the boardwalks of Venice Beach. These beautiful, handcrafted sandals are sought today throughout the world but their story begins in a message of peace, where the brand bridged the gap between two conflicted countries; Israel and Palestine. Two Jewish-Arab families on either side with varying backgrounds and views, partnered to revive a style from the past and innovate them for today’s fashion forward culture. Jerusalem Sandals is not only a brand that has ignited the fashion world, but a testament to what people can accomplish when they harmoniously come together.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
