We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhea Litré and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rhea, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I like to work with people, not for people. i love to create my own atmosphere and work environment. This is the best way to throw a party. <3

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When i first started with drag i was an account manager at a PR Firm working with some of the world’s biggest artists. I absolutely loved my job, but i knew something was missing. When i found drag, it filled that void instantly! As soon as i was offered 3 solid gigs a week, i knew using my PR knowledge full time on my drag persona was going to take her to the next level. I started doing music and traveling around the world in 2012 with my BFF Willam. My story is all about perseverance and working hard to get what you want.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is the most sickning place to live in the world. I would start the day with Brunch at “Beaches” in West Hollywood! The food is so amazing a very Cuban/ American style Menu. The new expanded outdoor patio is incredible, so open, clean and the servers and bartenders are gorgeous. Literally feel like I’m in South Beach on Vacation. It’s such a beautiful Day, let’s take a stroll to Medmen on Robertson Blvd for some top grade California Medical Marijuana! Then time to take a drive down Santa Monica Boulevard to Will Rogers State Beach. Oh, Honey! Driving through Beverly Hills is always a treat, look over there! its Britney Spears! its Lisa Vanderpump! and keep driving until we take in the sites of the most beautiful Gay men in the world in thier speedos. TOWER 18 HENNEY! Time to flirt your way into someones icebox for a cocktail and we are good to go! Play some volleyball, soak some sun, spark that joint and listen to some dance music until the Sun sets. Time to head back to the city, but this time we take Sunset Boulevard and enjoy the beautiful windy roads of Brentwood until we hit Hollywood Boulevard for a Custom fitting by Marco Marco and Styling by my sister Willam and its time to go to DELILAH (7969 Santa Monica Boulevard) for an amazing dinner by world renowned chefs and company by A-List Celebrities. Are you still with me!? The Abbey Food & Bar is famed as the #1 Gay bar in the world with the most delicious specialty cocktails and the most poppin dance floor in weho, lets go! then you wake up in your bed face down with your custom gown still on and say, “damn, i love LA”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout goes to The Ariadne Getty Foundation. Thank You for constantly inspiring me to not only encourage others, but to encourage myself to grow and learn to be the best me i can be.
