So many of the folks we connect with are focused on having a positive social impact on their community or the world at large. Check out some of these amazing folks below.

Kelly Shanahan | Creative Directoer & Owner
We are the first and only company outside of Asia using an ancient and very special type of silk. The entire process of making the silk is sustainable, from beginning to end. It’s only made 4 months out of the year in one tiny village in southern China. Its been made the same way for 500 years which includes a dye in vegetable juice, a bake in the summer sun, and a coat with iron-rich mud from a local river. The process is super special and unique. By using this silk we are helping preserve and protect an ancient tradition. At the same time we are modernizing this craft by innovating new products and marketing it for modern times. We support the community of artisans who create the silk. Read more>>
Brooke Harker | Artist of Cityscape Paintings
Art starts conversations and that is something the world can always use, a willingness to take in different perspectives. Since I paint outdoors in my yard passersby often stop to look at what I’m making. They tell me about places in their memories or where they wish to go as my paintings depict locations around the world. Others share their experiences with art or about their loved ones who’ve been artists. One woman approached me at my patio through tears to let me know that seeing my art gave her a sense of hope during a difficult divorce. She bought herself some art supplies and set up a painting station on her coffee table. Another day, a six year old insisted her parents stop the car as they passed so she could meet me. Read more>>
Lisa Freberg | Executive Producer
Many people ask me, “what’s up with the name of your company? Your a woman and the name is ‘One Good Man Productions’, what gives? I tell the story that my partner had a talent manager who is truthful, lives with integrity and celebrates fantastic talent and creativity. His last name is Goodman. He is his namesake, he’s one of the ‘good guys’ in the very competitive and often times, ‘dog eat dog’ world of entertainment. We decided to name our company after him, because he embodies all we strive to be and represents the stories we want to tell. With this vision, we chose this name. And as is the power of intention goes, this drew the independent creative storytellers and social good clients to us. It’s funny how this works. Read more>>
Alexandra Beckemeyer | Holistic Nutritionist & Lifestyle Coach
Food is something that all humans require to not just survive, but to thrive. The food we eat directly affects our health and wellbeing on so many levels – energetically, physically, and spiritually. According to the growing number of scientific studies on nutrition, many of the chronic diseases that our country faces are preventable – and some are even reversable – with diet and lifestyle. My goal as a Holistic Nutritionist and with Allume Wellness is to empower others with knowledge on how to nourish a dynamically balanced life. I want people to learn to connect with and trust their bodies, develop healthy thought patterns, and find joy in respecting their bodies, minds, and spirits with wholesome food and healthy lifestyle habits. Greisun Patitucci (don’t use last name) | Artist, Songwriter, Producer & Performer
My business – being songwriting, producing, playing instruments, and performing, has the ability to transcend way further than the physical aspect of listening to a song or watching a performance. The words I choose to write, or even just the notes I choose to sing, when used intentionally, actually have the ability to create a spiritual response in someone, to pass on a feeling or energy, to send a message that words can’t even comprehend. I think music is such a powerfully universal tool. A person across the universe from me could hear a song, not even understand the language i’m singing in, but still feel the emotion and relate to what I am singing. I think we’re all more intuitive and alike than we allow ourselves to believe. I’m learning the power of this but also the weight and responsibility that I have, to ensure that everything I release is intentional and genuine. Read more>>
