We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Montes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cynthia, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
It’s difficult, and sometimes stressful. Balancing everything that’s going on in your life plus your business and how to manage it keeps you so busy and at the end of the day you feel drained. Trying to keep my life going and my business growing has made me value my time more and to prioritize what I need and want in life . It’s really easy to get overwhelmed but when you love what you do and you remember why you started it’s all worth it.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business represents me, my love for fashion. I think that we all deserve to feel beautiful in what we wear, feel sexy and comfortable is my goal. Help women see that there’s many ways to style a top, a dress, a skirt in a way that goes with them and how they feel the more comfortable. It’s been hard nothing good is easy in life but always look back and look how far you’ve come believe me all the hard work will pay off. I’ve learned to believe in myself, have patience, trust yourself, and just be YOU. I want people to see my brand as a brand that loves fashion and trends that you can look beautiful, sexy and comfortable at the same time
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m an LA girl and I love it here. So many fun stuff to do and so many places to go. My to go place world be a pop up on the weekends!!!! I love to support small businesses as I’m a small business as well. I love to give back to the small business community and a lot of my friends I’ve met through this events that help me meet and connect with amazing babes. The pop up that I’m always at and that has helped me a lot has been Angel city market. Amazing people amazing vibes and just an amazing event to go to. I would probably go eat eat there and have my coffee with the caffeinated cart (the best small business coffee)
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. Without them I wouldn’t be were I’m at, I wouldn’t have the strength I have( when it gets dark and when I just wanna give up they always remind me why I do it why I love it) my customers who always support one way or another .
